Branxholm

The once bustling township of Branxholm, located on the Tasman Hwy (A3), has a mining past which is now replaced by the timber and agriculture industries. Hop growing is also a significant industry in and around Branxholm.

Close to the town is Mt Horror, known for excellent scenic views is surrounded by extensive pine and gum plantations. The Forestry Commission’s fire tower is open to the public when attended in the summer.

Of Historical interest is the disused Mt Paris Dam, located on C425 road and the Imperial Hotel (circa 1909)
Excellent FISHING spots along the banks of the Ringarooma River. Branxholm Caravan Pk offers camping facilities opposite the general store and tea rooms.
