Peron Dunes The dunes are an extensive area of sand mounds and flats covering many hectares. The dunes are situated on St.Helens Point and are utilised by Dune Buggies, sand boarders and people just wanting to explore the area. Probably well known to dune buggy owners because the Sand Enduro is held their every year. This activity only utilises a portion of the sand dunes which cover a huge area.
