'Cube Rock' - South Mount Cameron

| Travelling along the road between Pioneer and Gladstone, the Mt cameron range looms into the skyline. On the right side of the range, on a granite outcrop sits 'CUBE ROCK',large granite monolith. |

|
| There is a reasonably well marked track to the rock. Follow along the road behind the 'Blue Lake' at South Mount Cameron, to the campsite. Follow the markers across the creek and up the track. |

|
|
| Approximately two hours climb, and an hour to come down. There is no water available after the first creek. Moderate fitness required for the round trip. |
