Halls Falls

Halls Falls is another one of those beautiful serene bushwalks into a multi cascading waterfall. Turn right into Anchor Road about 3 kilometres short of Pyengana, it is only a couple of km's up the anchor road where the entrance to the walk begins.

It is a medium fitness track that has recently been made into the falls. A walk of 40 minutes return takes you through reasonably open forest until you reach the gorge where the rainforest begins.

Make the effort, it is well worthwhile, the falls can be viewed from a lookout or it can be viewed from the riverbed.

The track winds along the riverbank lined with giant manferns. A perfect way to spend an afternoon. The completion of this access track has opened up yet another wonderful part of the northeast of Tasmania.
