The older part of the garden features shade-loving perennials sheltered by choice trees such as purple cut leaf birch.
Pond and bog gardens and an alpine bed hold plants favouring special conditions, while extensive open borders have been coloured schemed to display a marvellous range of hardy perennials, including hundreds of different bearded irises. |
