St
Marys Online Access Centre

|
|
St.Marys Online Access Centre
was established in 1998 from
seed funding through Networking
the Nation. Originally we were
situated in the St.Marys Library
with 3 computers and minimum
space. This situation existed
for about 12 months before the
committee saw fit to try and
find a more spacious premisis.
We have now been operating for
another 12 years in the Northeast
Education and training facility
in a school room. We have continued
to expand and now have 6 computers
for public access. Having been
successful in a number of funding
options through Networking the
Nation we have now become the
Full Service Centre for the
Region. Our range of services
extend from the basic services
supplied by Tasmanian Communities
Online Centres such as access
to the Internet and e-mail and
training and assistance in Basic
Computer Operation. Our printers
allow us A4, A3 & A2 size.
We have a range of computer
courses such as Basic Computing,
E-Learn, Webdesign, Photoshop
and all of the Office products.
Laminating and book binding
is available. Both still and
digital photographic service.
This includes a full video editing
facility for use in weddings
and online movies.
