Douglas Apsley National Park

Douglas Apsley National Park

The Douglas Apsley National Park is located between St Marys and Bicheno, inland from the coast. It combines rugged river gorges, waterfalls and tranquil pools with large stands of dry eucalypt forests interspersed with wattles and blackwoods, and pockets of rainforest.

The Park has a wide range of bushwalks catering for the experienced walker, as well as those wanting shorter walks. The experienced walker can begin a three-day walk through the Park, or take a walk to Heritage Falls.

To get there drive down through Elephant Pass and turn right at the bottom towards Bicheno. Take the E road leading off to the right and follow it to the car park.

For more information about the various walks,
